The Hynds Building in downtown Cheyenne

Formed in 2011, Just Friends is Cheyennes newest vocal group.

Made up of Dick Cuthbertson, Margy Anderson, Paula Egan-Wright and Jeanne Howard , together they bring a wealth of talent and experience to the group.
Dick is the director of the St. Christoper Episcopalian Church Choir and has had leading roles in musicals such as Camelot, By Bye Birdie, Sound of Music and Fiddle on the Roof. He is a graduate of UW with a degree in Music Education.
Margy, the groups soprano, loves to participate in ensemble work. While pursuing a degree in Music Education at UW, Margy sang roles of Venus in Offenbach’s “Orpheus in the Underworld” and Glanetta in Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Gondoliers”.
Paula teaches French for the IB program at East High, as well as LCCC. In her spare time she paints, plays piano, does theater, cooks and reads. She is also raising money for a school she started in Cayes, Hatti.

Jeanne has been playing, teaching or studying the piano most of her life. She has a BA in piano performance and music educaton from UW as well as a Masters of Arts Degree in piano performance from the University of Iowa. She has taught private piano lessons for over thirty years and currently has a studio in Goshen County.

Be sure to stop in and enjoy this group at the Hynds Building on the corner of Capitol and Lincolnway from 5-8pm on June 14th

Wax poetic on April 12th from 5-8:00. Share original work or that of other poets in honor of National Poetry Month (http://www.poets.org/page.php/prmID/41).  The reading will be led by the local Cheyenne Poetry group, Serendipity Poets (http://home.earthlink.net/~chyserendipity/) Ancient Sage is on the Corner of Capitol and 18th St.
